The volumes are the long answer. The Field Notes are the short reference. Letters is the third register — essays from the author, in the long-form tradition, on whatever piece of the spirits world is currently asking to be written about.

Some Letters will read like the chapters that didn't fit in the books. Some will be reactions to whatever the bar industry is arguing about that week. Some will be a single ingredient I cannot stop thinking about.

They post when they are ready to post.

The first Letter is in editorial. Subscription form coming with the first publication.

In the meantime, the nine volumes are the canonical long read.
